Hi all,

I want to disable the site welcome message in confluence. Deactivating the "welcome-message" of the dashboard macro does not work.

Any suggestions?

Thank you very much.

Best regards,
Andreas

Hi Andreas,

If you would like to disable the Welcome message, you could achieve that by navigating to Confluence Admin >> Layouts. Click create custom on Global layout. From there you look for the following line, remove it. and save it.

<div class="dashboard-item welcome-message">
 $action.welcomeMessage
</div>

Hope this information helps. Cheers.

Hello Andreas,

You can go at Browse > Confluence Admin > Configuration > General Configuration and then "edit" the site welcome message. You can just write something as "h2. Your_Company_name" and then save. If you try to remove the whole message this will not work, but with this workaround you can edit and change the message that appears. If need more help about this topic, please raise a support ticket at https://support.atlassian.com with your latest logs so we can continue troubleshooting it.

Kind Regards,

Luiz.
