Hi there @Amit Kumar :)

I see you've already tried to work with Confluence's version history. draw.io has its own built-in revision history so you don't need to revert the entire Confluence page.

Try opening the page containing the diagram, click on the diagram itself and choose the pencil/edit icon (this will open your draw.io editor). Then,

- go to File > Revision History and you'll see a list of saved versions of the diagram

- Locate the version you want, and either:

          1. Restore this version

          2. Copy the content from that version and paste it into the current diagram if you'd prefer to manually merge or extract parts of it.

Hope that helps :)

Best,

MJ

Hi @Amit Kumar Welcome to the community!

If you go to the Version History, and click on the version number, you will be able to see the previous version. If there is a diagram that you have added to that version, click on that and download it. Now re-upload to the new version. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your response. In the previous version, we were able to download the diagram as an image. However, if I upload it as an image in the newer version, I won’t be able to edit the diagram later. So my question is — is there any way to copy or transfer it as an editable diagram (draw.io) instead of just an image? Whenever I face this situation I am rewriting the diagram and it’s causing me to put efforts again.

Hi Samie, Thanks for your reply. Using draw.io thru confluence page. It's resolved now.
