when editing/configuring the content of each individual tab, i want to use the 'page properties report' macro or 'insert excerpts' macro to pull data from other pages
I am the customer success manager for Mosaic - content formatting macros and templates our top rated app has Tabs in our toolkit, which allows you to do this and we also have a standalone Tabs for confluence both will do and have a free 30 day trial and you also can reach out to me direct for any support you need abrown@kolekti.com
Happy testing!

this worked. can include excerpts and page properties report.
would be really slick if you could embed tabs within tabs. think of a matrix view with multiple products on one set of tabs, but within each tab, a subset of tabs for different geographic regions (or flip the paradigm - region, and sub-tabs of products.

Hello Steven
My name is Melek and I'm the CPO of Vectors. We are the vendor behind Content Formatting Toolkit for Confluence
Our App offer Tab macro (Tabs Group and Tab Pane macros combined) that gives you the ability to include confluence macros in it. We do support Content Property report macro as you can see below:
Page in Edit Mode:
Several of our customers have implemented a similar case where each tab represents a product family card and under it they inject to Content Properties report macro to create a kind of comparison report.
I remain available for any additional support or you contact us on our Support Portal support.covectors.io
Hope it helps!
Thanks

Tried the trial version.
Content Property only shows title, creator, and mod date of a page, which is inadequate for my purposes
I need Page Property Report for richer content found within a document
This macro does not seem to support PagePropertyReport or IncludeExcerpt

Hello Steven
Thanks for your feedback.
Is it possible what type of rich content you're using in your Page Property Report ? (Media, Macros ?)
In Cloud version, Tab Macro need to re-render page content and invoke Native formatting resources so it can be a simple Atlassian file invocation. This can be fixed very quickly by the team and pushed to Marketplace.
Do you mind to create a support ticket on our support system https://support.covectors.io/ this way we can identify the problem and fix it quickly in order for you to use the app :)
Many thanks

Hi @Steven Eckstine ,
That sounds like an interesting setup. Could you share a bit more about your use case? For example, are you trying to create a kind of dashboard where each tab shows a filtered set of page properties, or is it more about organizing different reports in one place?
I’m curious how you’d like the tabs + Page Properties Report to work together, it might help others suggest the best approach or alternatives.

The former, each tab shows a filtered set of page properties

Hi @Steven Eckstine — thanks for clarifying.
We’re actively working on a Simple Tables macro that can read Page Properties directly, so you won’t need the Page Properties Report macro to roll them up.
What this brings: you’ll be able to pull properties from many pages into one table and then use Simple Tables features (sorting, grouping, calculated columns, aggregations, exports, etc.) to turn those properties into decision-ready views—basically taking Page Properties to the next level.
About your “tabs with filtered sets” idea: today Simple Tables doesn’t have saved “views” yet. Once we ship Page Properties ingestion, we plan to focus on saved views/presets so each tab can show a filtered slice—exactly what you described.
Meanwhile (workarounds):
Use Page Properties Report per tab with different labels, or
Duplicate Simple Tables with different input subsets (not perfect, but can help for now).
If you can share your typical filters/columns, I’ll make sure we cover them in the design—and happy to loop you into early access when it’s ready.
