iFrame and Aura HTML displays blank page

The page displays blank when I try to embed an external webpage into a confluence page using the iFrame- or Aura HTML macro. There are no X-frame options for the pages I want to embed.

I'm Philip from appanvil, the creators of the Aura plugin. There might me multiple reasons why the website is showing blank inside of an iframe. For example, it might not allow frame ancestors outside of certain domains. 

To get some better insights, would you be able to look at the console output of your browser and see if there are any outputs specific to the frame?
