Can we create a Terms & Conditions acceptance policy for NEW users,
During the initial signup (user account creation) we need a one-time Terms/Conditions policy that the user must accept to proceed to the site. This should only appear once (1 time) .
Is this possible with the CLOUD version of Confluence?
Thanks, Phil Martineau
OK, but how do you make the 'landing page' change after they accept the terms.
IE. do not keep asking them to Accept the Terms/Conditions?
Do you really need to record that they have formally accepted the conditions?
Or do you simply tell them on the landing page that by proceeding to the Dashboard or any other page that it is deemed that they have accepted ... and even tell them that when sending them the link to the landing page
I suppose you could get "fancy" and have a simple 1-page Space as the landing page (in order to keep them away from the main Space until they have accepted) - on that page have (in Matrix movie fashion) a "red button" to accept which then takes them to the general Space and a "blue button" which just closes down. The inference is that as soon as they get to the main Space clearly they have accepted it ... unless someone sends them a link to the main Space so perhaps there are too many holes in that process
But before all that - how are you creating their User account in the first place - surely the T&C should be provided to them before they ask for access? and they should indicate acceptance before you create their user account????

When you send the new User the link to the system, make it to a landing page with Terms and Conditions
