invite existing confluence user

I want to invite an existing user to my OnDemand Confluence installation which already has his own OnDemand Confluence space.

How is it possible, that he is member of several OnDemand Confluence installations with the same email address?

Users are not shared between instances. Two Confluence instances can have users with the same email address because they are not related to each other.

If you want to grant him access to your instance you'll have to create a new user for that.

But that is not very well thought out! It also means that I have also to re-authenticate with every change of instance.

Not at all user friendly!
