log files getting filled up with GET /rest/lockpoint/1.0/attachment/

our log seems to be hit by these attempts to get a file or lock a file via lockpoint on a very regular cycle, from disparate ips, looks like a bug in confluence, so for the last ?? the logs show an attempt to lock teh same fiel exactly every 15 seconds, some are 6 seconds, some 5...weird..any ideas?

Do you have the plugin Lockpoint installed in confluence?

We're evaluating the plugin and would like to know if you have the performance issue because of the plugin?
