mySQL instead of embedded database for confluence

When I installed confluence I chose the evaluation mode that used an embedded database. Now that its running how do I change to mysql? I loaded the mysql files but don't know how to get confluence to start using them.

I thought it would of been easier. I'll just create a new aws instance and start again.
