Whenever I change or add something in Confluence, every user receives an e-mail notification. Can I stop that? I just want users to receive a notifications when I ask them something by adding @e-mail address. But not automatically when I do something in Confluence (add page, add space, change content etc).
Hello - it sounds like your users may be subscribed to viewing your changes or watching pages for content changes. For a full list of email notifications, see here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/email-notifications-724765358.html
Your confluence administrator can set defaults going forward but users will most likely have to change their configuration. This linked article also explains that.
Thanks.
Dear Thomas. I am the confluence adiministrator and I would like to turn of the notifications for all our users. They complain but no one shall change their configuration themselves. Therefore I asked if I can do it generally.
