"Copied" Page not displaying in destination space

In attempting to copy a page (and its child page) to a new space, I get a confirmation that the page was copied (see picture attached), however, when I look at the destination space, it is not there.

Sometimes when I see the confirmation text (Copy complete) box pop up, I get a link underneath that which says "View copied pages". When I get this link, I can confirm that it copies the page correctly.

Unsure why this works for some pages and doesn't work for others.

I think I found the problem - when I tried to "Move" the page instead of copy it, it gave me an error that I had restrictions on the page. Once I removed the restrictions, I was able to copy it successfully. Devs should add a similar error warning for copying.

Solution: Remove the restrictions (if any) from the page before copying.

In Cloud, it's sometimes added to the root of the space, so it doesn't appear in the regular page hierarchy.

Check if you can reorder the pages from the admin section - maybe it's the same case in Data Center as well.

If you are talking about hierarchy view, it isn't listed there either

Found the parent space and pulled up Hierarchy - it is not listed in this view

Are you always copying to a new space and you have the difference on the copy confirmation?

Yes I am copying to a different space - like I said above (pictured), during the confirmation, it doesn't list the link (or space)
