I created a how-to article and published it, so I could download it to PDF.
Now I can preview the file or export it to PDF/Word and it has all the content that I created. However, when I click on 'edit', it shows me a blank document, which means I cannot correct anything in the article.
I tried copying the article to see if it's going to allow me to edit the content I can preview, but it's all the same - preview is fine, but no content to edit.
Hi @Weronika Pawłowska-Ciągło welcome to Community!
By any chance, did you convert your page from the old Confluence editor to the new?
Are other users on your Confluence instance seeing the same problem on the page, or on other pages?
Did you create the page using a template, or from scratch?
I don't have any solid tips for the moment, so just trying to better understand your case.
Hi @Julie d_Antin _Elements_ , thank you for the swift response.
I checked with another teammate of mine and they also cannot see any content when entering edit mode.
I don't think I converted anything; I only started using Confluence yesterday and I created the article today, so I guess I did it in the new editor?
I used a "how-to article" template: they way I created the article was by going to "How-to articles" and clicking "Add how-to article" and started editing it from that point.
When I'm in edit and I see the blank page (only the title is there) I can also look up changes to the file. It shows all lines deleted, however I haven't deleted anything (especially that this content is visible in preview mode and upon exporting). I can't seem to undo that process.
