Hi,
We have JIRA Software, JIRA service management and Confluence. (All Cloud)
I am looking for the best practices of creating and restoring the backups of these products.
Using the backup manager you could easily create backups for all systems.
If I check the documentation for restoring confluence, it tells you to restore space by space. :https://qpssoftware.atlassian.net/wiki/admin/import/importconfluencesite.action.
How does your backup and restoring procedure look like?
Laura
Hi @Laura Snoeij ,
Welcome to Atlassian community!
As per your concern, you just need to go through the below documents to take Backup.

Sanjen,
Creating the backup is not an issue. That seems like a very straightforward procedure.
I would like to know what the best practices are to restore both JIRA and Confluence in a simple way. (the space by space import from an confluence instance is not considered as a simple way)

If we speak about backup solutions, take a look at GitProtect.io, a backup & recovery software for Jira Software, Jira Service Manager, Jira Work Manager, and Confluence (soon).
You can find GitProtect.io on Atlasian marketplace: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1228719/gitprotect-io-backups-for-jira-cloud?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
Hope my response is helpful to you,

How will the procedure look when using Gitprotect.io when restoring both JIRA and Confluence (after it is implemented)?

As Jira and Confluence are two individual applications, those processes will be seperate.
