restrict folder page creation right

Can a user be given the right to create pages while having this right restricted in one specific folder?

Hi @Jira Admin and welcome to the community,

Yes you can, but not quite as you think. Imo you have to create two folders. One will be restricted to all users except the one you don't want to create pages inside that folder, and the second folder is where you grant access to that user. He/she will be able to add pages to that folder and not the other one.

i want, that this one user should create pages in other folders.

but in the specific folder should the page creation not work.

He should have the ability to read in this specific folder.
