reusing property values on a template page

Hi,

I am evaluating properties -  first pages and a list work fine.

Now I'd like to add the properties macro to a template and reuse the property values inside the template.

Think I am developing a catalog of products with each product a page with properties based on a template. Fields like "Owner",  "Category".

Is that possible?

You can use the page properties macro in templates. Inside the macro you then put a table with a header column/row (the properties) and a non-header column/row (the values). you can even put in template variables and placeholder text to guide people through filling out the template. The second screenshot shows that you can create select lists that have the user select a value when they create a page from a template so that the correct values are used.
