track who modified specific lines of page after published

Hello Atlassian Support Team,

I'm encountering an issue regarding content modification tracking in Confluence. During the collaborative editing phase of a Confluence page, the real - time editing feature allows me to see which line of content other users are currently working on, which is very useful for real - time collaboration.

However, once the page is published, when I check the page's historical change records, I'm only able to see the list of users who participated in the editing process. But there's no information indicating which specific lines each user modified. This lack of detailed modification tracking makes it difficult for me to review and manage the content changes, especially in scenarios where multiple people have made edits and I need to understand the exact nature of each modification.

I've already tried looking through the version history and using the comparison feature, but it only shows the overall differences between versions in a general way and doesn't clearly point out specific line - by - line modifications and their corresponding editors. I also understand that adding edit notes could be a workaround, but this requires manual input from editors and isn't a comprehensive solution.

Could you please help me with the following:

  1. Is there a native way in Confluence to track who modified specific lines of content after a page is published?
  2. If not, are there any recommended plugins or alternative methods that can achieve this detailed content modification tracking?

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,
