unable to edit comments or comment more than once

Trying to edit a comment, or comment on a comment that already HAS a comment, the edit box appears - empty, even when trying to edit an existing comment - but I cannot type in it.

It looks like others have been able to comment on comments on comments (eg, 3 or more) but I cannot, tho I am space admin.

Is there any error being thrown in the screen?

There are a few errors regarding comments that might fit your case:

- https://confluence.atlassian.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=300812262: may happen when Confluence is being access through a VPN

- https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFKB/Unable+to+add+comments+due+to+unsupported+driver: happens when an unsupported database driver is being used

Hopefully one of the above pages may address your issue. Otherwise we should look for recent errors in your atlassian-confluence.log.
