$variable with list option does not give the selected line after pressing next.

I made a template with a $variable 'list'. I create a new page with the template and get the wizard, select a line in the dropdown list and press next. The list jumps back to the first line and becomes a fixed text.

As we are currently running version 5.2.3 the bug is in not solved in that version. I can't find it in the release notes of newer versions though...

I am having the same issue. I am running Confluence 5.1.5 until I can get a test set up to verify the newest version.
