need information up to which version that was compatible and what all the steps we need to follow for the upgrade.

On the page, right side at the top  you have an option to change the versions. You can select whichever version you are using and check for support options.

Welcome to Atlassian community. 

Which version of confluence you are running?  The confluence should also be compatible with the version of postgres, hence the question. The latest version of confluence is 7.20 and it supports Postgressql 13. Below is the URL with supported platforms
