Recieving HTTPError 503 when trying to create issue in JIRA

Mont

When using python api client to create a jira issue, I am getting this error below.

HTTPError: 503 Server Error: for url: https://jira.<domain>.com/jiradc/rest/api/2/issue?updateHistory=false

I currently have this code implemented I am using to call the jira server.

jira_response = jira_client.create_issue(
fields= {
"project": {
"id": "Project Name",
"summary": 'New issue',
"description": 'Misconfiguration',
"issuetype": {
"name": "Task"
},
})
Does anyone know what could cause this error, how to fix it, or any information on it?

Hi @Mont ,

please could you check if the URL is correct? It seems a JIRA DC instance.
