Hi,
We're embarking on some work to document various aspects of our processes and our server-hosted Confluence is a candidate.
We're looking for recommendations/experience from people who have had similar needs. We'd like to create a hierarchy of pages within an existing Space (or its own space if needed), each page based on a pre-determined template.
So, maybe:
Which each page being based on a pre-defiend Template. (Note: we're not entirely aware of the different between BLueprints and Templates)
Is there a plug-in/app available that could provide this? We want to minimise documentation and have users put data in pre-defined fields/"holes".
Thanks
Nathan
If you want to be able to create a page tree with predefined templates i would suggest to have a look at this plugin https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1214324/space-tree-creator-copy-space?hosting=server&tab=overview
Regards
Dave

Hi @Nathan Pledger !
You actually don't need any external app - the goal is achieved by the basic Confluence functionality.
You just create the template you need and promote it.
The process is pretty straightforward.

Thanks. We do use Templates internally at the moment.
I'm thinking of multiple templates at the same time. So users on a new Project would essentially create a Space or part of an existing hierarchy which would meet a standard with holes to fill.

Oh, I see, ok.
I think @Dave Bosman [Realdolmen] 's recommendation is what you need, then.
Have a nice day!
