Hi guys,

I managed to migrate Confluence from DC to cloud recently, but I've noticed a significant performance downgrade, pages with numerous graphs take a long time to load.

Some suggest that reducing the image resolution might help.

Is there a more efficient way to reduce and replace image resolution on a page? Editing all the pages with smaller images seems impractical.

The entire page take a long time to load.

My screen record shows that it take 10-15 seconds in average to complete loading.

I raised a ticket before post it here.

Support told me that the root cause is image resolution, she didn't mention about the reindex thing, she also said there is a improvement ticket gathering interest that I can watch for further update.

@Carlos Chang is it just the graphs that take a long time to load, on the entire page content?

@Carlos Chang what version of Confluence Cloud are you on? Assuming it's Standard, Premium or Enterprise (since a DC -> Cloud Migration is certainly not going to free) I would suggest that you open a ticket with Atlassian Support to look at your instance. There may be some performance improvements they can initiate from their end. Reindexing is not a manual option on cloud unfortunately - but page load speeds can be affected by many issues, not just images or attachments, and you should get them to look under the hood post-migration to determine the overall health of your instance.
