I am trying to use an image macro (Image Grid Gallery specifically, but am open to using another image display macro), to display images from a File List on another page within the same space. I am finding that the File List images don't seem to be reference-able, i.e. when I enter the labels I would like the macro to pull, nothing shows up.
Does anyone have a workaround for this? It's critical that I am able to upload a file list at the space level and am then able to label the images for referencing/pulling into other pages within the same space (and ideally other spaces).
Any information, or a simple "that's not possible," would be helpful. Happy to clarify something if my explanation is unclear. If this is something I could do if we hosted on our own server, that advice is welcome also -- thanks!!
Hi Leah!
I understand you'd like to display certain images attached on another page and filtered by label.
I was able to get this to work in the native Confluence Gallery macro. I also did some testing with the third-party Image Grid Gallery macro (from the Image Galleries and Sliders plugin) and found that either the Content or Space fields need to be specified to show images from another page.
If you still don't see the images, here are some things I'd check:
Also, if you continue to have issues with the Image Grid Gallery macro, you may be able to get support from the "Image Galleries and Sliders" plugin developer, MOEWE.
I hope this helps!

Hi Zak,
Thank you for your response!
I double checked on my end, and I have tried specifying by Content or Space as well as both. My file list I'm trying to reference doesn't show any images even before I specify labels (everything is correctly labelled in the File List).
Any thoughts? I feel like I've tried everything! Might be time to contact MOEWE.

Hmmmm, interesting. Everything you're saying seems to indicate the macro should be showing your images. I'd also try the native Confluence Gallery Macro to see if you can pull in pictures from other pages. If you can, then it might be worth reaching out to MOEWE to see if they can pinpoint why their macro isn't pulling in images in your instance.
