Remote debug on spring boot

When stash (before 5.x release) was on tomcat we used jpda(https://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/BOOT/Setting+Up+Tomcat+For+Remote+Debugging1) for debugging plugins.
Now we cannot find any way to debug plugins. 
Could you,please, advice what we must to do? 
This solution is not possible for us (https://docs.spring.io/spring-boot/docs/current/reference/html/using-boot-running-your-application.html), because we want to test it on running stash server.
