When entering URLs in a code block, the URL is clickable when viewed on a Confluence page. This is in many cases very unfortunate, as the URLs are meant to be copied, not executed. I can see no cases where you actually want a clickable URL inside a code snippet.
Is this Confluence Cloud or Server? On server I can't reproduce the described behavior, urls are not linked at all.
Nevertheless this seems to be more of feature-request for the code block macro.
Confluence Cloud, as indicated in tags. Thanks for the input for the Server version!
It sounds odd that the functionality of the code block macro should differ between Cloud and Server.
I regard this as a bug in the code block macro on Cloud rather than a feature request.

I have the same problem…on the server version. Is there perhaps a server setting to disable this behavior?
