I want to paste html code I have written into Confluence, and have it render like a browser would. My code includes css and javascript popups.
All I am finding are things that allow me to pull html from some external site and embed it in my confluence page- NOT what I want.
Does what I want exist?
Thanks

There is not any way to add HTML, JS, and CSS within Confluence. You are correct that the only way to add that type of content is through iframes and the content has to be hosted outside of Confluence.
I just found this app that might work for you https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1221472/html-macro-for-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
