Renumbering lists

When I create/copy in a list and want to go back and edit my list adding images, macros, etc. my numbering changes and while I can rebuild my list to correct this, I'd like to use a function similar to that In Word to specify the correct number. Is there a way to do this in Confluence Cloud?

Hi Pat, I don’t know of any manner of accomplishing this inside confluence. I feel that the numbering in Confluence is a bit cumbersome if not lacking to be honest. If you found a way to accomplish this even if it’s an add-on please feel free to share here.
