Restore access to old Confluence server

Joeri Michiels July 5, 2023

Hi,

A few months ago we've a moved our Mercurial server (vm) to another network.  Since then the access to our Confluence server (vm) started failing.    On our Mercurcial server we found the following in /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/default-ssl:

ProxyPass /confluence http://ros3e19.dom.3e.eu:8080/confluence

ProxyPassReverse /confluence http://ros3e19.dom.3e.eu:8080/confluence

So we figured we'll just access the Confluence server directly via that url https://ros3e01.3e.eu/confluence/ but it redirects back to the Mercurials server on https://ros3e01.3e.eu/confluence/ which opens this page :

This site can’t provide a secure connection

ros3e01.3e.eu uses an unsupported protocol.

ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH
Would it make sense to stop that redirection ? Because I have the impression that it is somehow in a loop, forwarding to each other.
Last thing to note is that Confluence use an LDAP server to authentication logon requests.  That LDAP server is on the Mercurial (ros3e01).
Thanks for assisting in restoring the possibility to logon to Confluence again.
