I am wanting to build out a customer facing knowledge-base for my ORG. I don't want to turn on anonymous access, but I only want users within specific organizations to be able to log into our KB.  Our clients are enterprise and we don't have email addresses of everyone who will access the KB. It is possible to setup a restriction such that only users who have email addresses ending in @x.com would be able to sign up to access our KB

Hi Jeff

You can add users in Confluence which only belong to certain domains.

For this you will have to go through the following steps,

  1. Under Users select User Signup Options and select Allow people to sign up to create their account
  2. Select Restricted by Domain(s) and add all the domain which are whitelisted. (It is required to setup a mail server for this to work)

Please also find below a guide on how to do this,

Thanks,

Hassan Aftab
