Restrict Usermanagement for Space Admins

Hi There,

does anyone know a way to restrict space admins to not edit the permissions and users in a space?

Some features that a space admin can confirm are important for us. The Problem is, that a space admin can invite any user or group of the instance in the space. That could be a data protection risk for us.

Hi Patrick,

You can't have one without the other. What are the actions you need them to perform that you can't live without and they need the space admin privileges for?

But honestly, if you have that many trust issues in your users that they could grant access to information that is sensitive, you should either be more careful in the choice of the user for that role or educate your users better. Confluence permissions have always been the way they are now, so I feel like many other teams and companies have been able to mitigate the issue. Do you also fear this issue from your product admins that could easily grant themselves space admin permissions for any space in Confluence and then grant others access to it?
