I mistakenly deleted a tab. Is there a way for me to retrieve it?

Hi @Tiffany Parker  👋

If you've accidentally deleted a tab (which I assume was a page or part of a page), here’s how you can try to recover it in Confluence Cloud:

To recover a deleted page:

  1. Go to the space where the tab/page was located.
  2. In the left sidebar, click on Space Settings (you might need space admin permissions).
  3. Under Content Tools, go to the Trash tab.
  4. Look for the deleted page (they're sorted by deletion date).
  5. Click Restore next to the page name.

Note: Deleted pages remain in the Trash for 30 days before being permanently removed.

If you don’t see it there, it might be that:

  • You don’t have permission to view the Trash.
  • The page was permanently deleted.
  • It was never saved as its own page (e.g. a tab within a macro that doesn’t keep version history).

Let me know what kind of "tab" it was exactly — happy to help further if needed 😊
