All other macros working properly; when editing a roadmap, it hangs and then loses all changes whther I wait it out or update the page.

We use this extensively, this is a new issue.

Stephanie,

Which version of Confluence is this occurring in and did you recently upgrade? What error is occurring in the logs when you try to save?

We are running 6.2.3

I played around trying to find out exactly when it happens - its adding a new lane. It seems to be ok if I add the new lane, update the macro and page then edit again to name the lane, but it wont let me name the lane without saving everything

Stephanie,

 Thank you for confirming that.

  1. Did you upgrade recently before the change happened?
  2. What occurs in the logs when you attempt to save?
  3. Does the problem occur in all browsers?
  4. Is the Roadmap Planner and all modules related to it enabled in System Add-ons?
  5. If you enable Safe Mode in your instance, does the problem occur?
  6. Lastly, you could generate a HAR file and have a look at that to see what might be causing the issue.

Regards,

Shannon

Stephanie,

The HAR file would be more for your internal investigation since to this could be caused by a network issue. There'd be no need to send it to us.

Can you please review my previous questions? We will need to know those details in order to troubleshoot the problem. It could be a network issue, a certificate issue, etc. but your error logs will tell us the true problem.

Regards

Shannon
