Roadmap macro in confluence would not merge updates.Does Roadmap Macro support simultaneous updates?

One of our user is in process of editing the service section of the road map. After saving the updates, User received message that other updates occurred concurrently and that the user should merge or discard. User has chosen to merge and Roadmap macro crashed with below error Error: [com.ctc.wstx.exc.WstxLazyException] Unexpected character '=' (code 61) (expected a name start character) at [row,col {unknown-source}]: [1,898] Could you please kindly help us and please fix if this is a bug

f = is listed in title or name you will receive a fail message.

Tht's "If" = is listed as an unexpected character instead of an alpha (letter). Row and or column in roadmap cannot be named with character.
