The button activates, the search field slides out and immediately disappears. This has happened with at least two different accounts for the same company account.
I would also suggest allowing the site in any adblock or popup blocker extensions you may have active.
I believe it is due to a popup blocker in Chrome. I was able to allow the site by going into Chrome settings / Privacy and Security / Content Settings / Popups and Redirects and adding our Atlassian root URL to the allow list.
