Search a substring in a page

Jaime Murillo July 21, 2020

I have a string in a page that looks like this:
AVA2_Instructions.
but when I type AVA2 in the search box, the page I am looking for is not displayed.
for some reasons other pages that have just "AVA2" are shown in the results.
but not the one I need.
same goes for "Instructions" on the very same search.

is there something I am doing wrong?

Hello @Jaime Murillo

Confluence's search is built for finding pages, not content within a page.  So even if you did this, the result would not be anything more than a link back to the page you were on.

You can use Macro "Page Tree Search",Using the Page Tree Search macro, you can add a search box to your Confluence page. (or)

Refer Confluence Search Syntax -https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONF57/Confluence+Search+Syntax
