Search trough user profile

Hello everyone,

in our company we want to find persons with specific knowledge through the search field in the person section of confluence.

In the profile there's a field called "information about me". We want to use this field to show people's qualifications and search them with the person search field.

My colleague and I are sure that the search worked a while ago but now it doesn't.

There is nothing built-in for that but the add-on User Profiles for Confluence allows you to create extra fields in profiles to store data that can then be searched on.

Hi Nadja,

Per Search the People Directory, that search will only allow you to search by name.

There's a feature request below to be able to search additional information, such as keywords:
