I tried to get the new 5.9 feature fo Confluence "Edit a page, without losing your place" working. We have a pretty plain 5.9.3 server running. Are there any know bugs or problems when using the mentioned feature. It works on  only about 15% of our pages. Does it support layout sections?

As an alternative, you can try the InPlace Editor for Confluence add-on. You can edit your page by sections with it, and it supports editing inside Confluence layout and inside most macros.

Sorry, another paid addon is not a solution for us. We want Atlassian to get this issue right.
