Sections macro stopped working

Although I have selected the section macro that divides the section in half, all the content lines up on the left side. I even tried adding columns to the section, but that didn't work, either.

@Janet Shuey Are you using Cloud or Data Center?

If you are using Cloud, are you referring to the Layouts feature that you insert from the editor toolbar?

So are you saying that you cannot insert your cursor in the layout panel on the right side and insert text there?

When I create a section that appears as 2 cells side-by-side (as in a table), when I enter text in the right cell, it appears underneath the left cell when I publish, instead of to the right. I want 2 columns on the layout, and I end up with only one.
