Select multiple options in the search panel dropdown fields

In the right search pane, when you select an option in the drop-down boxes, the drop-down box will automatically close. Is there a way to select multiple options in a dropdown box (without closing it in between).

As an an example. With the shift key pressed, several options can be selected in a drop-down box
