Serch function: Issue with words containing underscores

Hi there, we are facing the following issue: 

Whenever we search for content within our Confluence environment, words/phrases containing underscores(_) are not being displayed. 

Example: 

Excerpt from the page: vol/bc0004598_01/otdata/

--> If we search for "vol", he right page is displayed in the search output box and the relevant content is in bold font. 

--> If we search for "sb0004598", the right page is displayed in the search output box but the relevant content is not in bold font. 

--> If we search for "bc0004598_", no search result is found. 

We have already deleted the journal and index folder in the home directory, which has not solved the issue. 

Is there any other adjustment that we could do in order to solve this problem?

It sounds like you may have run into this bug:

• CONFSERVER-53573 - Underscore prevents search in space directory

At this time, we have no known workaround, but please watch the bug for updates. It will also help us if you vote and comment on the bug to help show the number of users that are affected by this issue.
