Good day.

Is there a possibility to change the color of a confluence sidebar and the layout of it (add icons into the sidebar etc.)?

I am aiming to meet the company identity more and make people recognize the company by landing to our startpage/spaces. 

We are using server.

Hi @Darina Plekhova,

there are different possibilities to change the Look & Feel of Confluence as mentioned here.

The first two points are a good start for a costumization without a certain theme.

Ways to customize the look and feel of your site:

• Add your own site logo. See Changing the Site Logo.

• Change the color scheme of the user interface. See Customizing Color Schemes.

The icons would be created as Spacelogos for example.

Thank you so much for your reply. I followed your instructions and unfortunately did not find what was needed. The only changeable options were elements around the sidebar.

And still nothing about the sidebar.

sorry to hear that - I really thought sidebar would be part of the color scheme.

As far as I can see you can only costumize the sidebar with Stylesheets -> see here. But that's something I haven't tried out myself. 

Another idea would be a costumizable theme plugin you can find in Atlassian marketplace. 

We costumized our Confluence with a third party theme - specially programmed for us with some bigger changes. 

Maybe another community member has an idea for the sidebar costumizatio.
