There is a nice app for Jira: https://slack.atlassian.com/
It would be handy if there is an app for Confluence. I actually want to fill a blog in Confluence and then automatically get a notification on Slack. There is a solution for hipchat. It would be nice to have something else for Slack.
I want 3-4 pushs a month. Therefore each payment variant is rather not the right one.
I tried to include an RSS feed but unfortunately Slack says that Confluence RSS feed is not valid.
Is there a solution?
In September 2018 an extension was released.
Hi, Tobias,
At this moment this option is not available for Confluence, but you may want to check the Slack add-ons available at the Atlassian Marketplace.
For the other way around, you may check this feature request for sending Slack notifications to Confluence:
- CONFCLOUD-59547 - Slack channel feed to Confluence

Thanks for your feedback @thais
Unfortunately, the feature request in the linked ticket describes exactly the opposite way from my request.
My requirement as such is not particularly difficult. You "just" need an appropriate webhook.
Please add a Feature-Request in your backlog, if there is no ticket for it yet.
