Some of my Confluence pages no longer allow me to publish updates after editing

This has started happening about a week ago, and it affects some (but not all) of the pages in my space.

Here's what's happening:

1. I click 'Edit' on an existing page and make some small changes.

2. I click 'Update' to publish the changes to the page.

3. The blue 'Update' button just spins a few times, and then goes back to normal. I remain on the edit screen, and the page has not updated, although the unpublished changes are still saved in the edit screen.

This is happening on multiple pages.

This is not unique to me. I asked a colleague to access the same page, open the edit screen, and try to publish the pending changes, and they are also unable to do so.

I have confirmed with the space administrator that I have the right access and permissions, and I was even the original creator of these pages.

Please help if possible, why are we no longer able to further update these existing pages?

Hi @Melissa Gasson ,

This might be related to the rollout of "Live edit" pages.  These pages can be edited as is, and need no update.  However this might be unexpected if you rely on an update/publish workflow.  Live edit pages can be converted to normal pages.
