Hello Abhishek,

Thank you for reporting this to us. Could you tell me if this happens with all spaces?

Please also check to see if there are any orphaned pages in the space:

To view the orphaned pages in a space:

  • Go to a page in the space
  • Choose Space settings from the sidebar > Content Tools > Orphaned Pages

(ref: Move, copy, and hide pages)

Thank you!

Shannon

@Shannon S I have checked; there is no orphaned pages right now.

it was not happening for all the spaces.

I have overcome with the issue.

herewith sharing the Steps to reproduce it:

*  Required tools : Confluence , Team Calander

Step 1 : Open Confluence space --> Pages will be shown in Left Navigation Panel

Step 2 : Click on Calender in the Left Navigation Panel  --> Pages will be collapse in to one home Icon

Step 3 :  expand  Home icon

Step 4 : Make the pages Out of this grouped Home icon

Step 5 : Delete Home Icon

Step 6 : go back to Confluence Space

Step 7 : Pages will not be available

macros at the overview page will also stop functioning.

To overcome with this issue I have created an page set it as overview page.

and also realize. that while navigating through calendar; pages will be grouped and not get confused that why pages are being shown as grouped.

Please look in to this UX ; its creating Confusion.

Abhishek

Hello Abhishek,

Thank you for letting me know you were able to workaround the issue and for providing the steps.

However, I don't quite understand what you did for the following steps:

Step 3 :  expand  Home icon

Step 4 : Make the pages Out of this grouped Home icon

Step 5 : Delete Home Icon

Step 6 : go back to Confluence Space

Step 7 : Pages will not be available

macros at the overview page will also stop functioning.

Could you perhaps provide a screen recording showing me what steps you took, so I can understand the issue?

Thank you,

Shannon

Abhishek,

I was just able to replicate the problem you had, and my page tree looked like this originally:

CleanShot 2020-07-28 at 14.34.08.png

The Test Project page is my default homepage (aka Overview page), and whenever that was set, my pages wouldn't load. If I set my homepage to be another page, it started working again.

To fix it, I dragged my Test Project (Overview page) to the top, and then made sure everything was under that, and now it looks like this:

CleanShot 2020-07-28 at 14.38.25.png

This is how the page tree should have looked by default, when I compare with my other spaces, so I think that somehow the pages were orphaned anyway and was causing this behavior.

If you're not sure, could you show me how your page tree view looks from your Reorder Pages tab?

Thank you!

Shannon
