Space Home Page not loading

Across my site I'm finding that setting the home page for spaces is having no effect.

I.e. despite having specified a Home Page under a space's details, each way I "browse" to the space, I get the "List Pages" page.

I've tested this with a brand new space and had the same occur.

Any ideas please?

Sounds like the option has been set in global administration for "View Space goes to Browse Space".
