Space Permissions - Limit Restrictions for users for only pages they created?
Is there a way to set the Restrictions option for confluence-users to only allow users to add/delete restrictions for pages they created? Similar to the Delete Own option. We have a shared space and we would like individuals who work within the space to set their own restrictions on their pages but not be able to add/delete restrictions on others pages that others have created. I have seen a way that this can be done.
You can't set this type of permission.
But, when you have restriction permission, you can set a restriction to "page A" (Edit Restriction) and the persons, who are not permitted to write on this page can't change the restrictions.
At least, in confluence server the behaviour is like this.
Hope this helps
Regards, Dominic
I am going to accept this as the answer, but note this is not a solution, it's just the answer is you cannot do this. I feel this is something you should be allowed to setup to allow people that create pages to and then can delete their own pages to set the restrictions on those pages without affecting other pages not created by them.
