Hello,

I am curious if anyone has found a way to add a missing level of notification resolution in the notification side of Confluence. As it stands right now, I can only get email notifications on edited pages using the "Show Changed Content" setting button in the email notification settings. However, one thing that is slightly annoying is the lack of configuration within this setup. It would be really nice if your parent "Show Changed Content' setting is activated, each individual 'Spaces' settings had this hierarchical child setting so that you can have some level of hierarchy and resolution in the configuration of the email notification settings.

I am sure this would provide a reasonable solution to a lot of the other questions and functional suggestions to improving Confluences suite of features.

Thanks,

-Zach

Hi Zach,

Welcome to the community!

I suggest you create a feature request as some of the configurations out of the box are lacking as explained here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/How-to-disable-space-email-notifications-for-new-and-all-users/qaq-p/594683

Hi Fabian Lim,

It isn't as though the features are lacking as much as it would seem that the feature functionality is misapplied and lacking the resolution to be truly useful.

I will submit a feature request through the link.

Thank you,

-Zach
