Space and pages are missing after migration

Pronojit Saha February 19, 2025

I had imported few spaces using XML last year and they were visibile in Spaces. When I logged in this year, those spaces are gone. It does not appear in spaces drop down or All spaces. I cannot do space permission also because the space is not visible.

It seems like the account is deleted and now its setup as new account. Quite unreliable.

Hi @Pronojit Saha ,

  1. Go to https://<yourDomainurl>/wiki/admin/permissions/viewdefaultspacepermissions.action and search for the space. If exists here, you can regain the access. This URL can be accessed by confluence system admins only
  2. Check what has happened in the audit log. (This will display the events as per the days you have setup previously in the settings)
    https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/view-the-audit-log/

Please note: If you are in free plan and if there is no activity for 120 days, then the site will be deactivated.

Thanks and regret not checking this earlier.

1. I checked the domain URL and those imported spaces are not present.

2. I checked the audit log and I see that only February logs are present. I had imported the spaces last year in march.

Does this mean that the spaces were deleted? If yes is there anyway to recover?

Hi @Pronojit Saha ,

Go to https://<yourDomain>.atlassian.net/wiki/admin/space-manager --> Thrashed.

Spaces remain in the trash for 60 days before they’re permanently deleted
