I am logged in as user that can create spaces.
I am in a space created by that user (not a personal space), and I changed the space's logo. This appears to work (the logo is updated, I check by looking at the sidebar.)
However, the actual admin panel (where it says "Space Logo [Edit]" does not display the new logo's image. (It does on refresh)
(Space settings | Manage Space | Space Logo)
In this case the same display (Manage Space) says I am a (space) administrator.
If I reload the page, the updated/correct logo does appear in the "Manage Space" panel.
