When we do releases I use the JIRA functionality to automatically create release notes in Confluence. I have many users who use Confluence but do not use JIRA, these users are not able to see the JIRA issue summary when logged into Confluence.
The below screenshot shows the Release Notes issue summary (JIRA Legacy) on top with the error message described, as well as a JIRA issue summary I created manually using the same JQL. Neither show the issues to this user.
Is there a way to allow users who do not have JIRA access to see JIRA issue summaries?
Hi @Mia Otte and welcome,
it seems an old issue https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-34793
Btw, did u try to select just some standard fields (summary, assignee, reporter) on jira issue macro and try to verify that it works?
Fabio
Hi,
Works fine for standard fields. Fails (only for some users) when I include a custom field. Is there any workaround for this?
