What did you change?
Sorry, that's a very short sharp answer, but it is kind of what a lot of questions boil down to. If a behaviour in software changes, then you need to chase down what change was made to the software, code or data.
You haven't given us a lot to go on here (are you ondemand or self-hosted, do you have other administrators who might change stuff, where is the "other macros" option expected to appear, when did you last see it there, etc)
But if I'm thinking of the same place you are, then the answer is "one of your administrators changed a setting".
